Symptoms of PCOS vary but may include acne, infertility, unwanted hair growth, irregular periods, weight gain, anxiety and depression. In order to keep these symptoms at bay, intentional lifestyle changes are necessary. Women with PCOS are at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes, hypertension and heart disease which is why healthy habits are critical in preventing further disease.
